Doff Weedout Extra Tough Weedkiller is a ready to use spray for the control of annual and perennial weeds (grasses, docks, nettles, willow herb, dandelion). It is a systemic weedkiller that works by transporting the weedkiller down to the roots. It is inactivated immediately on contact with the soil and is broken down naturally in the soil. Treats up to 90 sqm.
Contains 7.2g/l Glyphosate as a ready-to-use weedkiller.
Instructions For Use
Do not spray hedge bottoms. Do not use on lawns. Avoid spray contacting nearby plants and grassed areas. To avoid possible transfer to lawns and green areas, do not walk on treated areas until the spray has dried. Allow sprayed vegetation to die back before clearing. Extreme care should be taken to avoid spray drift onto lawns and other desired plants as this may damage or kill them. Rainfall within 6 hours of application may reduce effectiveness and require re-treatment. Apply this product carefully. Enure spraying takes place only when weeds are actively growing (normally March-October) and is confined only on visible weeds including those in the 30cm swathe covering the kerb edge and road gulley – do not overspray drains.
When To Use
Spray when weeds are actively growing and have adequate leaf area to absorb the spray. Treat established perennial weeds at the start of flowering for best effect. Spray nettles and ground elder when new leaves have fully unfolded in late Spring but before they show any signs of yellowing which is usually in early Autumn. Use on brambles to kill top growth and roots; spray small shoots directly or apply after cutting when regrowth has begun and new shoots are about 15cm long. If brambles are large and access is difficult for spraying, cut down the plants and spray the regrowth at a later date. A period of at least 8 hours, preferably 24 hours, free of rain is required after application for satisfactory results. Do not spray in windy weather. Doff WeedOut Extra Tough Weedkiller kills most weeds with a single application. Some tough weeds may need a repeat treatment after 3-4 weeks if regrowth appears. Weeds may show the first effects of treatment after a few days or up to 4 weeks later depending on the weather and type of weed. Leave weeds for at least 7 days before cultivating.
